Burlington 1 Recognizes Brother In Afghanistan PDF Print

ImageThere are currently many AOH brothers fighting for our country. Burlington County Division 1 would like to acknowledge one of their members who is in harms way and is fighting for our
freedom in Afghanistan.

Lt. Col. Jack Sweeney is stationed at a forward operating base "FOB" in Salerno, Afghanistan.  His job is that of first triage.  He evaluates the injured as they are being taken off of the medical helicopters.  He says there seems to be no shortage of casualties as the Taliban are well funded and their ordinance seems to be increasing.  When he is through with triage, he helps in the operating room.  When casualties are being transported to the base, the pilots have to communicate with Jack to coordinate the care that is necessary.  Jack’s call sign is Shamrock Doc. Our prayers go out TO Doc Sweeney and all of our brothers and sisters fighting on our behalf.  May the lord protect you and keep you safe until you come back to us.
