One of the primary jobs of the State Board is to help promote the divisions, events, and charitable acts that are organized and carried out by AOH members in the state.  This website is one way in which the State Board can help with this goal.

If your division is holding an event, doing a charity project, or some other AOH related activities the State Board would like to help you share this information with AOH members all over the state.

You can submit information either in the form of a Calendar Event or a News Article.  The following are the rules for submission of this content.

Calendar Events

This is for events that will occur at some future date. In general these should be concise descriptions that include:
  1. Event Title
  2. Description (Time, Date, Location, Cost, etc)
  3. Who Is Sponsoring (State Board, Division, or non-AOH group)
  4. Contact Info (Name, Phone, or email)

News Articles

A written article that describes your event or story.  Articles should conform to the following rules:

  1. Any Words or Images that you submit must be your own creation.  Anything that is published automatically has copyright protection, so you cannot submit anything that you find on the web or in print. We require that all submissions be original work created by the person that submitted the article. Internet companies take copyright issues very seriously and they can immediately disable your entire website without warning if they receive just one copyright complaint.
  2. Articles must be at least 100 words long (about 2 paragraphs).
  3. No More that 10 pictures per article
  4. All Pictures must be in JPEG format (.jpg)
  5. The longest side of all pictures must be 800 pixels
