State Catholic Action Chairman John Keane Plunges to Support Catholic Schools
Members from Monmouth 2 held their 2nd annual Polar Bear Plunge to benefit Catholic Schools in the northern Monmouth County Bayshore Area.  Working with 8 parishes and 7 schools, the Division was able to raise over $32,000 to be used towards Catholic School Scholarships.

This event has doubled in size from the inaugural Plunge last year. This year's crowd, estimated at nearly 1,000 people, turned out to see over 225 brave souls take the plunge for this important charity.

Brother Hibernians from around the state came out to support Division 2 in their event. Division 32 from Bergen County send down an entire crew of plungers, Middlesex 1 in South Amboy sent their pipe band, and members from Division 16 in Freehold came out to support the Division's Event.
